I was working on printing out my blog and getting it into a binder for March and thought that I would pause and reflect on just what I've done. This is the first time in my life that I have EVER kept a consistent journal of any kind. That is quite an accomplishment for me. This has always been one of my weaknesses.

I have always felt guilty not keeping some kind of a journal. But it just took so much time to write by hand. This is neat and orderly and even has pictures! I have always had a love for history and unfortunately don't have much from my ancestors. I'm hoping to change that with my generation, and leave something for my posterity to know me and my life. Hopefully they might even learn some life lessons! I know I have.

"BRAVO, dude!" I'm going to brag you up on my blog - come for a visit!
Cindy! your journals are awesome. I hope that I can get got up with you real soon. I get so envolved with other things around here that I forget to get on my blog and do some writing. Guess I need to just get in the habit of doing it every day.
Love you,
Mom
PS. Still trying to figure out a way to not use so much paper? Any clever ideas? I guess one could use front and back but it would take forever to run it off. I'm still trying to figure it out. Does that concern you at all?
It doesn't concern me right now. I'm still in the phase of just get it done. My ancestors did virtually nothing, so I guess I'm making up for them! I tried printing it back to back, but with the pictures on it it shows through and I didn't get a good look. If it was just text that would work, though. But I like what the pictures add--they are worth a lot of words! I do edit and delete my title picture now before I print it. That saves a lot of space, up to a half of a page.
You are an inspiration to me. Your blog is awesome. Keep it up! Sorry to hear about your fall. Hope you are doing better.
I STILL haven't printed mine out. I am going to do it tomorrow! Thanks for the inspiration!
