I just want to make a note that today is the birthday of my grandfather, Kurt Abramowski. He passed away on March 17, 1973, but I still remember him and the fun times we had. He had a big infectious German laugh throwing his head back while he did it. He loved FOOD and relished a good meal. He had a great appreciation for music. He had a beautiful voice and led many choirs. I still remember his white conductors baton!
He struggled with his bowed legs and bunnions on his feet. He would buy so many pairs of shoes looking for something to give relief to his feet. He was a 'fine' dresser. Casual or dressy, he was always classy. Bald, with a bit of gray around the sides! Short. And he LOVED his family.
Was he perfect? No. But he fixed his errors and always maintained his love for the gospel.
