Rain, Rain, Rain. Fog, and chilly cold.
Mike and Adrianne went to breakfast with Josh and Meredith for their 'rent' payment. Josh and Mere are housing Adrianne's antique parlor grand piano for them right now. Her dad bought it for her when she was a girl. It is a beautiful instrument. Marketing done, and we finished some more Christmas preparations.
Then we settled in to cheer on the Cougs.
They did good in their bowl game. Won UTEP handily. They are looking like a good team now. I am encouraged for the next few years. We were very young and 'green' early in the fall and the guys look seasoned now.
It was the perfect day (rain and football) for a big pot of browned beef stew with noodles and breadsticks.
Chris went to a 16th bday party for some of her friends from school who are twins at Peppinos. They had a great time. They say the rain is supposed to continue for several more days, and I for one am not complaining. It adds to the festiveness of the upcoming holiday.
