We woke up to a phone call from the Geek Squad from Best Buy telling us that they would be here in 30 minutes to install the new tv in the family room. We threw on some clothes, brushed our teeth, and ate a quick breakfast. Mike and Christine were still 'sawing logs'.
Jason arrived, and made quick work of getting everything set up perfectly. We are not handy-men in our family, so it always pays to have someone else do it! WOW! Duff and Mike did a superb job with their selection. It fits perfectly in the entertainment center and I can hardly believe the picture it has. I remember when tv's were only black and white pictures and everytime you wanted to change the channel you had to get up and turn the knob. There was no such thing as a remote or channel surfing. We had 'rabbit ears' for an antenna and thought we were pretty happening when we got an antenna for the roof! Now we use cable and dish. Oh technology is a wonderful thing.
Next we got a call from the Koellikers letting us know that they were rolling into town to help their newlyweds get moved in and settled and we offered to have them stay with us instead of going all the way to Kim's cousin in Ogden since they just had to spend tomorrow back in Provo again. They are on their way right now with Matthew and Dani because they can't get into their apartment until Monday. What a bummer for them! They are driving back on Sunday too, so we will try and connect and caravan with them as well. It somehow makes the drive quicker to do that. Brett and Duff have similar driving styles, which makes it easy.
Off to make sure the rooms are ready! and get ready for bed myself. After Swiss Days today too, we are pooped.
