What a Thursday

Well, it's been a busy day. I finished all the Christmas cards. I love thinking about each person and family when I address the envelopes. That feels good. Did laundry, my visiting teachers came, and then we had Christine's orchestra concert tonight. It was VERY good. And she moved up to 3rd chair after her most recent chair test! She is very happy about that. She has been practicing a LOT.
Duff is at the airport picking up Natalie. She is excited to get home because she hasn't been home at all since she left the middle of August! (Except that she will be missing a 'certain someone' who is coming back to Provo early. Could it be he's anxious to see her???)
It's been a cold and rainy day here. Nancee (who takes care of the cabin for us when we aren't there if the kids can't do it) called this afternoon to tell me there was so much snow she couldn't get up the switchbacks to our place. They got 12 inches over night! And were expecting another 14 by tomorrow! The snowplow was busy non-stop! The Kohlers got the driveways plowed and the deck shoveled thank goodness. We'll be up sometime around New Years.
Shaun and Josh and Meredith get home tomorrow night. Then the guys are all taking off for Las Vegas for the Bowl game with BYU vs. UCLA. The girls and I will put the final touches on the Christmas festivities.
I got a call from Alice Montierth and she let me know that a certain very important visitor will be dropping by for a visit on Christmas Eve! Hmmmm..... wonder who that could be!?
Off to bed--big day tomorrow.
