Taxes on Tuesday

It went together. What can I say! But today is Tuesday, April 15th and it is the day taxes are due. You can count on it every year. I've never had to worry about them. Since I'm married to an accountant, he has always just taken care of them and I sign on the hightlighted spaces. No biggee for me. But I know it is a huge undertaking for so many other people.

Bronson came over this morning and I completed what we ordered for some more food storage. Click on this link and you can find out more about it. It is amazingly very good. I won't use it for all our storage, but definitely to supplement. It takes up very little space and has a 25+ year shelf life. http://www.dailybreadfoodstorage.com/ It is a good feeling. My friend, Nancee, is getting some buckets of wheat from Lehi Roller Mill. She is going to get some for me too.

It is Duff's brother's birthday today, and Aunt Ann went in the hospital today for a hysterectomy. I will update tomorrow on how she is doing. So remember her in your prayers.

It has been an incredibly cool and BEAUTIFUL spring day today.

Glad your taxes are done. Dad and I had ours done at the Senior Center for free on Friday. Saved ourselves $180 by not taking it to H & R Block. Let me know about the food storage you are getting. Didn't know that you were put in charge of the music for Women's Conference. I worked on Visiting Teachers Conference (the food and table decorations). So happy that I am not doing Enrichment every
month even though I really did enjoy that calling. 7 1/2 years was a long time. Everyone kept asking me did they call you to Enrichment again. The center pieces were simple but beautiful. I used the flowers that I had in the containers in the garage. Decorated the tables in pink and lavendar tablecloths with white underneath, with lighted topiaries and a purple, lavendar, blue, white and pink floral arrangement in a white basket on the serving table. Made Beef Stroganoff for
60 people for their baked potatoes.

The presidence gave a great story on Visiting Teachers. Everything was lovely.
