The last two weeks we have attended baby showers for Meredith.
On the 12th her ward gave her a shower.
It was at Mattie Gibson's house and so many people came to show their love and support for Josh and Meredith and Baby Girl.
(Christine took all those pictures with her new Canon Rebel T2i that she got for Christmas.
She is really into photography since she took those classes last year and won all her awards. We had no idea. This year she is using her photography and doing broadcast journalism with it at school. She is currently co-anchoring the school news network, TNN. Who knows where this might go...?)
On the 19th, her boss-and dear friend- hosted a shower for the ward she and Josh both grew up in.
I have a few pictures from that. Geesh. My camera is lame now compared to Christine's. Haha.
Presents.
The Grandmas.
Yes, we planned our pink shirts, and it was fun to do.
Heidi and Auntie Coy and Adrianne. Cherise had to work and was not happy about that.
It was so nice to have them there, and we missed Cherise and Mayra.
Good Friends all around came to celebrate.
Crystal had us play a funny game where we had to match the mommy to their baby animal name.
I didn't do as well as I thought I might. It was hard!
Refreshments.
Avery, (Lindsey's daughter) was Meredith's helper and handed her all the gifts.
Perfect for a Duffy Irish Lass!
She'll fit into it perfectly for St. Patty's Day.
I made these baby months cards for her to put next to Baby Girl when she takes pictures to document each month birthday. They are 1/2 sheet of cardstock. My friend and primary secretary helped me get them just right! Among many of her talents is a computer genius.
Another gift from Gamma C.
Felt boards and stories with an easel and case to keep everything in.
Our neighbor, friend, and 20 year home teacher (Brett K.) cut all the wood for me. When he brought it back for me to put together, he had already assembled the whole thing. That was sooo nice of him, but just the kind of guy he is.

And a basket of receiving blankets that I worked up.
For the shower at Mattie's, Patti and I had to bring a picture of Josh and Mere when they were a baby/toddler.
See Josh on the side? He was about 18-20 months then.
Everyone was extremely kind and so very generous.
Josh and Meredith and Baby Girl are well loved.
