We've been called to repentance. At Saturday stake conference, we were counseled to do better at family home evening and family prayer. Yes, we've been slacking on family home evening. With Christine having practice every week night and pretty much all adults here in the house, fhe has not been a regular around here lately. SO. Duff and I are recommitted to getting it back on the routine. We had a 10 minute lesson and challenge on family history work. Our local leaders have charged everyone to have a temple recommend--even limited use for youth age in the family--and to attend the temple more often than we do. And to attend the family history class during Sunday School hour and get.it.done. So that is our goal. Duff gave us all assignments and we have to report back next week. We are going to set a date to go to the temple as a family each month. Chris will go with us and do baptisms while we are serving otherwise. I learned that as long as you let the temple know you are bringing a youth age with you they will do baptisms with them. Cool, huh.
My laundry is way behind. Last week was a killer. I hardly made a dent in it today. Oh, well. I have tomorrow, right?
