Today was a crazy day. So many things. And yet at times it felt like I wasn't getting anything accomplished. But we got the most important things done, I guess!
Among them:
Babysitting Ainsley while Josh and Meredith both went to mutual tonight. She was a good little thing and just got a bit fussy the last bit before her mama could get home and feed her. She is starting to get excited with faces and is on the verge of cooing.
We are having the missionaries over each Wednesday evening to teach the gospel to our dear friend's boyfriend. He has sincere questions and is looking for answers. He is a good man. I made a peach pie for dessert. (Boy am I glad to have those frozen fillings in the freezer when I need to whip up something quick. Crust in the food processor, place in the filling, put it in the oven and it's done.)
Tacos for dinner. Adrianne has had a craving for all Mexican foods and can't even be in the same house as anything 'chicken'!
Talked to Natalie. She has a particularly difficult divorce case right now. She can't talk about the details, but it is rough on her. She was pretty emotional about the pressure of it. Needed to vent and get some reassurance. That's family law for you. The highs of helping those who need it and the lows of the victims who suffer and those whose hands are responsible for that suffering.
