Daily Q

Question:  What is your favorite TV program, and why?

Answer:  Oh, I just laughed and laughed at this one!  Perhaps the better people to answer this is my family.  They would say in a heartbeat:  Mom's Murder Shows.  When they walk in the room they say, "Oh, Mom has on one of her murder shows."  I roll my eyes.

Let me explain.  I have always loved a mystery.  I was a Nancy Drew fanatic.  I didn't have the whole set of her books (you know....$$), but I borrowed everyone I didn't have and my mom would catch me reading in bed under the covers with a flashlight and come in and take it away and make me go to sleep.  I even read some Hardy Boys.  I was a voracious reader and my interest was a good who-dun-it.  I would make predictions of the outcome and write it down and every time I got to a new clue I would get my paper out and see how it was fitting into my prediction and if I needed to change anything.

I still love a good mystery.  A good figure it out-er.  I'm kind of like that in my own life too.  I want to know the how's and why's.  Sometimes I could lighten up on that a little, but I figure if I understand the how's and why's it could help in the future??? 

So currently I love watching:  NCIS, NCIS: Lost Angeles.  The Firm. (Oh, did you see it last Saturday?!).  Revenge. (Bad, I know.)  Body of Proof.  Blue Bloods (Still love Tom Selleck from his Magnum P.I. days).  Anything on 48 Hours.  Sometimes, The Mentalist and Unforgettable.  Thank goodness for dvr-ing.  I can record them and then when I'm dusting, doing laundry, mopping, cleaning the stove I can watch them.  However, lest you think I am all about 'murder', I also dvr the Tab Choir broadcasts and watch/listen to them while I'm doing chores and also right before I go to bed.  Quite relaxing and good for the perspective.

Now here's a twist:  My other favorite show currently is Who Do You Think You Are?  I want to be one of those celebrities and have somebody help me with my family history.
