The 8 and 9 year old Activity Day Group learned how to play the chimes. Sister Hoopes has a set and taught them to play Families Can Be Together Forever so they could perform it at the ward Talent Show tonight.
Concentrating so hard on the song. We practiced at Diana's, and then they stood on the front stage stairs at the church. They were front and center!
I played the piano at the beginning and they sang the song through first. Then they played the chimes for the second verse.
They did a GREAT job! They received a lot of compliments and were really proud of themselves.
We practiced that at the end of their number they would 'ding, ding, ding' their chimes while the audience applauded. It was a perfect ending.
