Sunday 8-22-10

We had Josh and Meredith for the day.  So we celebrated birthday again.  I always give the family a Sunday dinner of their choice for their birthday.  She picked:  roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, and rolls with honey.  Oreo ice cream dessert for her cake.  I made a pie shaped one with mint oreo for her (her fave) and vanilla in a 9 X 13.  Adrianne and Shaun love the mint oreo, so they got to share!

We read and napped and watched some tv.

Christine was released as the MiaMaid president today.  She did a great job and led the girls well.  She learned a lot also.  Especially how it feels to be released and pass the torch to the next one called.  In the church we all stand up and move to the left or the right--figuratively speaking--as others have an opportunity to serve and we learn to be directed and give our support.  I love that.
