Butcher Paper and Locked Door

You know that feeling of humiliation, dread, when the shock of realizing something stupid that you did hits you in a nano-second?
Yeah.

We are having a heat wave this week.
So I hadn't exactly gotten dressed yet.
I was alone in the house.
It was quiet and I was relishing the time to do just what I wanted.
I was tidying up the kitchen and went to put some containers in the small garage in the food storage cupboard.  All was well until I turned the door handle to go back in the house.
IT WAS LOCKED!
I had accidentally hit the tiny lock button when I opened it to go in the garage.
That button has been sensitive and tricky the whole time we have lived here.
There I was in my 'unmentionables' with the door to the inside locked.  There was no choice but to go outside to find an unlocked entry back into the house.
It quickly registered that the front door was locked, the other garage was closed and locked, the bathroom door to the outside was locked, but the kitchen slider wasn't!  Now how to get there with hopefully a smidge of dignity.
My eyes landed on a roll of butcher paper that I keep for making signs and covering tables.  I wrapped it around me, ripped it off the bolt and darted through the backyard to the slider and privacy!
I got dressed.
