Okay--so I know it is a trade off: I live next to the BEACH, I have SUNSHINE practically everyday, I enjoy GREEN year round, and for this I 'give up' having a basement. But oh, how I miss the storage space.
For those of you who have basements: LOVE them. TAKE CARE of them. Keep them TIDY. Don't take them for GRANTED. Get your food storage and enjoy putting it away in a wonderfully organized manner.
(Today: reorganized more cupboards. It is AMAZING what we save that we don't need. I was able to give LOTS of elementary workbooks, beads, puzzles, games that we never played much to the elemtary school nurses office. One of my friends takes care of all the little kids with diabetes, asthma, etc. While she's testing their blood, waiting for meds to 'kick in' , she has some fun things to do with them. They were thrilled.
Went to the church for a computer training for my new calling. Wow! Last time I served as the VT coordinator, we did everything by 'hand'. Now it's all done on the computer. I'm learning a lot.)
