It is so dang hot and humid.  Today I am sooooo very grateful for air conditioning.  In the house, in the car, in the stores.  Yay! 

It was 101* at 4:30pm when I pulled up to Josh and Meredith's.  Usually by this time, it has started to cool down some.  But not today.  And then Josh let me know tomorrow is supposed to be worse.  Aye carumba!  I had been to Costco and was dropping off some goodies to get them through the next few days while Mere is getting her strength back.  (All went well.)    Their new place is really nice.  It is warm and inviting.  It has a good feeling.  Mere is good at that.

Enchiladas for dinner.  Since I was gone most of the day, Christine took over the house duties.  What a good job she did!  Thank you, Chrissy girl.  The summer is practically over and I'm not ready this year.  Can I have another month or so?????
