A year or so ago, Kristin and Clint were getting a new patio set and gave their old one to Josh and Meredith. Josh and Mere have a small, but nice little patio off their living room. It was in great condition, but needed a little TLC. Originally it was white mesh, but Meredith chose a really nice espresso brown to paint it. Lisa and I washed and primed it, and then Meredith, Josh and I painted it.
We did the table and umbrella stand on the patio. See the original white and now the rust colored primer. My forearm was very sore the next day!
The umbrella stand pre-paint. We were originally going to use a textured brown paint, but it didn't look like the paint can lid AT ALL, so we took all the rest of it back and decided to go with a satin brown. Much better choice!
Wow, can you believe the difference!?
We spread the chairs out among the rock planters just on the other side of their patio. Then we 'raked' the rocks when we were all done so the painted ones blended in.

Didn't they turn out nice? They will be able to use this for a long time now.
We ran out of paint for the table, but Meredith is going to get an extra can and will finish it up on Monday morning. I'm going to be at my parents house now for the rest of my trip.
It was a fun project, and look what a little spray paint can do!
