Auntie decided that since Mike and Adrianne were in town we should celebrate Adrianne's birthday too! So Sunday after church we gathered at the Tucker's. Adrianne picked lasagne, salad, and garlic bread. She chose the classic yellow cake with 'homemade' chocolate frosting. (Mike just can't abide the frosting from a can and he never misses an opportunity to let me know...)
The dinner was yummy (of course), and the cake spectacular. Gramma was in charge of the cake, and Grandpa insisted that he had to help frost it. They made sure there were 30 candles on it! Adrianne has the cutest smile.
She got them all out in one breath too! just like Grandma. Oh, and the ice cream du jour was mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip cookie dough.
We played games again, and it was a great time together as a family. Adrianne is having a lot of celebrations for the big 3-0 this year. She deserves it!
