Eclipse

Picked up Christine from the Lacrosse Camp.  She had a good time, learned lots of new things, improved her goalie skills, and is really, really tired.  She also has a good tan from being outside everyday!  Along with lacrosse, there was a casual dance on Tuesday night, and yesterday after practice they went to the Seven Peaks water park until closing.

After check-out, we got our tickets for Eclipse and had dinner at P.F. Changs.  The movie was GOOD.  They are getting better each time.  It followed the book pretty well, and the acting and filming has greatly improved.  Even if it is a bit cheesy from time to time, I love the story line.  If I hadn't read all the books and know the ending, I'd still be 'voting' for Jacob.  He can offer her so much more in my opinion.  That being said, I really liked Rosalie's explanation to Bella for not becoming a vampire in the movie better than in the book.  And I liked the way Bella made her case to Edward for changing to the vampire world better in the movie too.  OH!  and the battle scene was amazing!  Great teamwork vampires and wolves.

I ducked into Deseret Book while they walked to get the car.  I had a fun time looking and got a CD of the BYU Men's Chorus.  It is an older one that they made about 10 years ago and I lost my original one so I was happy to find this.

Christine was eager to drive again after the better part of a week, so she drove all the way up the canyon for the first time from dusk to dark and did very well.  Canyon driving is different than city or freeway driving and she got a good feel for it.

She got a new head by stx in blue and white (of course), and some good looking tshirts and shorts from camp.  I think tomorrow she will be sleeping in for awhile.
