The winter wood was delivered today. I think we are set. I know I've been dreaming of a gas unit, but when I see it outside all stacked so nicely, I feel like I can count it toward my emergency preparedness/food storage. Between this and the charcoal in our storage, we could have warmth and hot meals for quite some time here.We got a mix this year that doesn't have a lingering campfire smell. I didn't realize the kind of wood makes a difference. Geez, I continue to learn!
