That's quite a life!
On the Heber Creeper.
He has lots of train stories from when he was in the Air Force. We'd never heard them before!
With some of his grand-daughters and his chickens.
There has always been a bit of the farmer in him. Even in the city he always grew a garden. It's in his genes from his Idaho progenitors.

Little kids love him.
Abby tied him up in a ribbon at little Josh's baptism.
He has a great reverence for the military.
