Duff was really sick with his asthma/bronchitis/sinus infection when John was born. He never got to touch or hold him. Sunday, he drove Shaun back up after the first hour of church because he didn't feel good. Mere and Christine and I went to SSchool. After RS and YW, Shaun was waiting for us in the parking lot. That seemed odd. Where was Duff?When they pulled in to the cabin, Rob and Natalie had just arrived. They were unloading their car and John was on the couch fussing. Papa Duff went over straight-away and the rest, as they say, was history!
He didn't even change out of his suit. They cuddled like this for hours.
