It is the end of the summer and we held a 'campout' for the Activity Day girls.
It was in the evening from 6:30 to 8pm.
For the gathering activity, the girls decorated a pinecone page. We hot glued little pinecones on to yellow cardstock.
They didn't notice what was on the back!
But that was what we had planned for later when we closed.
We played Squirrel Scramble!
And what campout would be complete without S'mores?!
Each girl brought their pillow, a blanket, and a flashlight.
Inside the tent we did tongue-twisters and laughed so hard we could hardly sit up!
Then,
we talked about the pinecone and the Savior and Diana read the story about both from the back of their pinecone pages. She and I both bore our testimonies.
Our 'campout' was a lot of fun and a success!
(...and we all got to go home and sleep in our own beds! haha!)
