School started on September 7th this year.
It was a Wednesday.
Christine is now a junior in high school.
She hasn't heard if she got her parking permit yet, so we had to drive her.
She is an Impact team member and they had to wear their tshirts on the first day to assist other students. She kind of wanted to wear one of her new outfits instead.
The school was only open Wednesday and Thursday and then the power outage hit Thursday late afternoon from here all the way down to Mexico and the school had no electricity so it was cancelled giving the students a 3 day weekend.
The nice thing about this was she only had to go the first two days of school with her oral cast/splint and all her wires and rubberbands which made talking a lot harder since her jaw was clenched in position all the time.
