This is a fuzzy picture, but I took it sitting down and raised the camera over my head during the Laurels skit. It was really funny at the same time being appropriate and a 'roast' of their leaders. The girls carried it off well! Christine was Sister Pothier. And the musical number was beautiful.
Everything was a garden theme focusing on the butterfly using gospel and personal progress metaphors. From a caterpillar creeping along to a chrysalis to a beautiful, unique, individual butterfly. And we even had butterfly sugar cookies frosted in all the value colors for refreshment.
(Shaun is doing a little better each day. Able to get up and down more. It wears him out though, but the short walking around the downstairs is doing him good. Logan came by for a visit. Shaun enjoyed that. He has been a good patient. I think one more night on the couch. Tomorrow he'll try the stairs.)
