Well, this picture didn't turn out like I'd wanted. I will stand back farther next time, but I wanted to post it to show what kind of binder it was. I really like red. It is vibrant and 'alive'. Plus it is a good scout color.

This was a lot of fun to do and it brings back many memories of Shaun's scouting years (good and tense) but especially that he DID IT. It was 6 years of very hard work and he wanted to quit--he did take a break for a while--but when all was said and done, he picked back up and reached his goal, finished the race, endured to the end, whatever you want to term it. Loads of good life lessons in this accomplishment!
(p.s. Mike and Josh have an Eagle Scout scrapbook similar to Shaun's also. It's been satisfying to read through them. I'm glad I put these together.)
