Memorial Day 09

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! This is Arlington National Cemetary.

Thank you to all the veterans and those currently in the military who provide for our freedom. Most of the time we just go about our day not giving a thought to what they have and are now doing. I so appreciate your committment and service.

We had a good day. Mike and Adrianne came over around noon. Josh and Mere are in Palm Springs with her family for their traditional trip.

We bbq'd some ribs and steak, had seafood (shrimp and crab)pasta salad, corn on the cobb, watermelon, and flag cake with homemade ice cream.

Lakers lost.

Watered, read, did handwork, visited with the kids. It was a rather mild day. Heavy marine layer in the morning that didn't burn off until mid-day. The temperature was just about perfect. Things are green and flowers are out.
