It is Mike and Adrianne's #2 Anniversary today. Wow that has been a fast two years. Today it is POURING down rain and very cold for California. Like a typical February should be. Two years ago it was a freaky dry 90* day, but worked for an outdoor reception! LUCK was on their side!

Now, wedded life takes a lot more than LUCK, wouldn't you agree? It takes work. Lots of it. Some of it easy and some not so much. But these two make it look easy.
Nie (as her nieces and nephews call her) is a vintage traditionalist. I would click you to her blog, but it is private, so I will borrow from it. She is a fantastic embroiderer. So since the old-fashioned traditional gift for anniversary #2 is 'cotton' she cross-stitched this saying from one of Mike's favorite shows, The Sopranos. She will say to him, "I Love You!", and he will say, "So stir my eggs!"
A quote about the significance of 'cotton' in a marriage: "It symbolizes the need for a marriage to remain strong and be able to adapt to changes." Oh yes, so many changes. Well, her post was much more eloquent than mine, BUT:
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Sure love you guys!
ps: He gave her a set of egyptian cotton sheets. Guess who stayed 'in budget'?
